Rail-fan Pictures of Biddeford Station
The Portland Saco and Portsmouth Rail Road Company built a line from Rigby yard in South Portland, ME to the New Hampshire state line near Portsmouth in 1842 and was leased to the Boston and Maine Railroad and Eastern Railroad jointly, and they had a station in Biddeford, ME as early as October of 1897. The last station there survives as Champions Sports Bar. Though the Downeaster does not stop here, it comes by at about the time of the Saco Station stop.
